In 2019, I plan to focus a lot on self-care. All the way from taking better care of my skin & hair to keeping my body healthier and myself happier. One thing that has been bothering me for a while is my smile. I started researching at home teeth whitening, but never followed through until now.
Smile Brilliant, a custom teeth whitening company approached me with a collaboration opportunity. I was so excited to get started because I had researched a few similar brands with similar techniques but I was hesitant due to previously mentioned reasons. After accepting the collab, Smile Brilliant sent me a package starter kit, that everyone receives after signing up.
How it Works
In the package, you receive a custom mold-making kit and your syringes for not only whitening but desensitizing as well. The desensitizing gel intrigued me the most because I knew that whitening your teeth can cause sensitivity to certain temperate and I did not want that to happen to me.

The process is super simple. After making your mold, you send them back for a week or so and Smile Brilliant makes you a custom teeth whitening tray for both top and bottom rows of teeth.
At Home Teeth Whitening Process
After receiving my trays, I used 1/3 of each whitening syringe between the two trays and left them on my teeth for 30-45 minutes. It is safer to go even longer though. It’s best to do this before bed to avoid potential staining throughout the day. So, I added it into my nightly routine. I spread my personal whitening process out over two weeks and followed each whitening session with 20 minutes of the desensitizing gel.
My results for At Home Teeth Whitening with Smile Brilliant
As for the results, I took a photo before starting my whitening sessions and again after. I am super happy with how they came out! I was worried that the whitening would cause sensitivity. However, I felt no pain or burning and experienced no sensitivity. The only complaint I would have is the taste of the gel. A few times when I may have used a bit too much gel, I tasted the whitening and didn’t love the flavor. It was horrible but not the best!
For someone that loves to indulge in coffee, red wine and so many other things that stain your teeth daily, this was such an easy fix for me. I highly recommend Smile Brilliant to anyone also wanting an easy teeth whitening fix.
