It’s obvious that winter is the driest season when it comes to skin, hair and the overall air. From November until March I pretty much run my humidifier 24/7. It does help that my newest humidifier is also a super cute oil diffuser as well, but that’s not the point. You can shop my humidifier here. I am annoying, one of the few people I know that gets frequent nose bleeds. This occurrence almost triples in the winter months, which is why it’s so important for me to use a humidifier when I can. I also like the fact that the humidity helps to avoid excessively dry skin, but face masks can help with that too. These are my 5 best winter face masks to beat dry skin! But, I recommend a humidifier too. Can I say that enough? Lol.
Laneige Water Mask
(This one too, for dry lips) Suitable for all skin types, this sleeping face mask is a top-rated highly recommended product. Apply on clean skin before bed, and be happily surprised when you wake up to glowing, but not oily skin in the morning.
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme
I first got to try this mask out of a travel set I got for Christmas. I was super excited to try this line and this was the first one of the set I used, and I have now since emptied the bottle. Its not over-moisturizing like some heavy cream masks can be. It offers a cooling sensation from the cucumber and helps with redness, as well. The full size is a bit of a splurge in my opinion, but well worth it and it will last a while. You can also try out a travel size set option with other masks from this line, here. This line also comes in hydrating eye patches, too! The travel size set option is what I used, and loved them all!
Watermelon + AHA Glow Sleeping Mask
This mask is the first sleeping mask I ever tried. It can also be used as a light-weight moisturizer for the daytime, too. It smells incredible and absorbs into the skin quickly, so you don’t have to deal with that sticky texture some hydration masks have. I love it, but its best used when you normal to dry skin. It is also a certified clean skincare product.
Superberry Hydrate + Glow Mask
I have to admit I was reluctant to try this one, but on the advice of a sales rep, I went for it. The 4.5/5 stars it is rated on Sephora’s website are accurately given. It is best for dry skin, and I wouldn’t recommend if you have extra oily skin, but it is a powerful overnight mask that deeply hydrates, plumps, and brightens with powerful, antioxidant-rich super berries and THD ascorbate (vitamin C). The vitamin C in this mask is great for brightening dull, winter skin, which is why I really love it. The smell is not my favorite, but the results are great. Also another certified clean skincare product!
Glamglow Berryglow Probiotic Mask
Would this post be complete without at least one Glamglow mask? Probably not. While pretty much every Glamglow mask is amazing, this probiotic one is even more amazing. Which is why it’s on my list of 5 best winter face masks to beat dry skin. I love all things probiotic, and this face mask is included in that list now, too. Great for all skin types and smells incredible. It is a must-try if you have dry skin this winter.
