Gift Guide for Men

Figuring out what to buy the guy in your life is always tricky. At least, for me. I feel like I always opt for the same gift ideas and styles. In an attempt to go outside of the holiday box, I am making this gift guide with recommendations from my boyfriend. In my Gift Guide for Men, most of the picks are items he personally recommended I advertise, or that he would like to receive. While I usually love to try to buy him a bunch of clothes, which he never ends up wearing, I am going to go with his choices this year. He just doesn’t know it, yet.. (I know he isn’t reading this post, so whatever)

For the Home Body

My boyfriend currently is on a third-shift schedule. What that means is he works nights between 8PM to 8AM, 3-4 days a week. When he gets home, he typically is exhausted and wants to immediately jump into bed and sleep for up to 10 hours. Items such as weighted blankets, my all-time favorite bed pillows and cozy sweatpants will make anyone want to curl up in a ball and stay there. Actually, I think I want all of the gifts on this gift guide for men, for myself as well.

The Entertainer

Love to have people, entertain and / or party? These gift options are for you and him! The Sonos Soundbar is a hit in my home and I have a few of the portable ones on both my and my boyfriend’s lists. Sonos is a bit more pricey than other speakers, but 100% worth the hype. They make it so easy to connect anyone’s phone, their radio sections are great and you can use any music provider on their software! Having multiple in a home also allows you to set up groupings. If you only want the Living Room to play music, but want to watch TV with your speakers in the bedroom at the same time, no worries, it’s possible.

Apple Fans

Speaking of playing music, the new Apple AirPods are a hot item and will sell out, fast. Last year I tried to get a paid of the original AirPods during the holidays and wasn’t able to find them anywhere! I recommend buying sooner than later if these are on your dudes gift list. I have the original ones, but the new version offers a more comfortable fit and are noise-canceling as well! Thinking I may need to upgrade myself, as well..

While you’re at it with Apple, maybe take a hop over to the Apple Watch section. The new watch offers so many new features and upgrades I am too tired writing this to list them all. But, you can take a peek at the Black Friday sale that this retailer is advertising their new Apple Watches on. They are also discounting last year’s model at about $200 off, I think this is a must-buy. Try to shop online early for Black Friday to make sure you can snag one on sale!

If you’re not an Apple fan, which my boyfriend wasn’t until last month, I have top picks for you as well in the same widget, above. My boyfriend, before switching to Apple used these Bluetooth headphones and loved them! They’re under $50, sound great and are basically the same thing as AirPods but cheaper and might even work better.. Or take a peek at these Bose noise-cancelling picks!

Gifts for the Gentlemen

My boyfriend is constantly telling me “I hate all of my clothes, can you just go shopping for me?”. While I would love to do that, we tend to have different senses of style when it comes to clothing. So, I had both of us pick out our favorite 3 clothing items for men and I have pulled them for this post. From cashmere cardigans that I think are just wonderful, to more trendy sweatshirt styles that my boyfriend loves, I’ve got the full spectrum of clothing gift ideas.

I also added a few accessories into the below widget as well. A new belt, hat and scarf set or even a pair of nice gloves are always appreciated and useful!
