Coral for spring? Groundbreaking. But, Chanel coral for spring… That is exciting!
Coral Chanel
I found this tweed coral Chanel jacket in Florida last Christmas with my mother and have been waiting to wear it out. I was hoping to create a balance between professional, with the structured silhouette of this blazer and brunch-casual.
Pairing this Free People thermal top with a Chanel jacket may seem a bit odd. But I absolutely love the way this look turned out. This top can be worn off the shoulder or not and still looks great either way.
Keep it Chic
Draping the jacket over my shoulders as opposed to wearing it traditionally makes the look that much more casual yet also offers a chic twist.
I added a pair of Dr. Martens high top leather boots to this look. They help keep it casual. You can find a similar style here (on sale). I’ve been wearing Dr.Martens boots for years. I love the casual yet practical look they give to any outfit and my feet are always happy walking distances in them. Which, makes me happy. A new style that I’ve been drooling over can be found here and comes in two colors.
If you’re looking to make an outfit that’s chic yet casual and comfortable to spend the whole day in, try draping a jacket over your shoulders for that chic style. Pair a more structured silhouette with a loose fitting casual tee and some high-wasted skinny jeans.
Have a jacket that you absolutely love and want to wear every day like I do with this Chanel one? Leave a comment below with who its made by and what style it is!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and let’s keep our fingers crossed for no more snow…
XO,
Tori
