Happy first Monday of March! With March comes the first signs of spring. green grass and (somewhat) blue skies. What goes great with spring? Green tea & greener grass!
It’s not a secret that I love the color pale pink. I probably need to stop buying it, my closet is slowly but surely starting to become all one color. But when I say I probably need to stop buying it that usually means I won’t… Oh well, at least it’s a good color and on-trend.
For this look, I paired a pink Banana Republic moto jacket (similar style here) with a swing, thermal Cabi top. I threw in my favorite pair of Levi’s and some metallic TopShop booties (similar here) to dress it up. They add a playful twist to an otherwise professional-looking jacket!
With metallic being so in style right now and the presence of spring finally starting to show itself, I love the pairing of these booties with this pink jacket. It really helps to incorporate today’s trends with a classic spring color and style.
Dress down any look with some distressed jeans and you’ve got yourself a great, stylish look for day-to-night activities. I wore this look to class and to dinner afterwards. Layers make it easy to stay comfortable and the colors remind me the upcoming warm season.
I hope you all make it through your Monday, just keep thinking about that green grass! I also highly suggest an Iced Green Tea Latte from your local Starbucks.. Get that green tea & greener grass vibe going. It helps make these Mondays go a little sweeter and it’s finally (kinda) warm enough for an iced drink!
