Something I never used to be able to do was mix patterns. It never really seemed to make sense to me. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with doing it. I can’t say what specifically inspired this to happen, but I’m loving the fun it adds to any look! This is how I mix patterns now..
How I Mix Patterns
In Florida last week, I mixed a Brandy Melville Gingham dress, similar style here, with my white Louis Vuitton Damier Speedy bag. Plus, two silk scarves wrapped on the handles of the bag. I kept my shoes simple and wore my white leather booties. I wear these things almost every day and it’s seriously a problem. They match everything, they’re super cute and even comfortable. My exact shoe is sold out but a similar style is linked here.
I’m heading back to the sunshine state on Thursday, I’ve been home for a week and I’m already going crazy. I need the sun! Its April 3rd and snowed in Ohio yesterday. I’m moving somewhere sunny as soon as I can so I can just wear fun sundresses like this one every day.
Accessorize your Accessories
What do you think about the silk scarves over the handles of the bag? I’ve been seeing silk scarves everywhere lately. They’re so versatile! I’ve worn them as a belt, headband, necktie and everything in between. These ones are from Target, I needed two that matched, one per handle, and didn’t want to spoil any of my designer ones from the oils on my hands.
