New Years Eve Outfits
Still searching for a great New Years Eve outfit? If you’re going to ring in the new year, you better do it looking your best. As someone who loves anything and everything sparkly, this is usually my favorite type of outfit to plan for. Sadly, when I ordered what I thought would be my NYE dress a few weeks ago, it slightly disappointed. I have since been scrambling to find a new dress in time, and have a few on order currently. Although this year I have opted for a simple dress with extra sparkly accessories, I have pulled all of my favorite shiny and non, last minute New Years Eve outfits! A lot of the dresses and accessories I have pulled today for this post are still on sale for the holidays. With only two weeks to go until NYE, it’s time to shop now for the greatest prices and to make sure you can get it in time for the last day of the year. Today is the ground shipping deadline, and unless you want to pay high shipping fees, you better scurry to secure that perfect outfit.
New Years Eve Dresses
This off the shoulder black dress, and this tank style are what I have on order currently for my New Years Eve look. I am hoping one of them works out better than the first one I ordered. Which, isn’t necessarily a bad dress, it just doesn’t really scream NYE in person, or wedding per se, which is where I will be.
Shiny Accessories
All of the dresses I have ordered this year are black, and non-sequined. I have decided to do more of a sparkly accessory, rather than dress. This year for New Years Eve I will be at my cousins wedding, and am ready to party away 2019. I decided to not go with a super over-the-top dress for a few reasons. One, I will be in the dress for 6+ hours, two, I hate the feeling of sweat with sequins. I had enough of that experience during my competition dancing days, and those rashes hurt. And third, I found these super gorgeous earrings (under $30) and thought they would be way too much if paired with an extra sparkly dress as well.
I am on the hunt for some perfect sparkly shoes. This pair and this style are top in the running for me right now, and I plan on picking them up today to try with my dress. If you want a great, statement NYE shoe, check out my favorites in the widget below!
Of course you can never be fully accessorized without the right makeup. These famous Stila Liquid Eyeshadows in metallic colors are a favorite of mine. This holiday gift set is the perfect option for NYE! I bought this NARS lip set and the matte red color is the perfect holiday shade as well.
