How to Save during the Sephora Holiday Bonus Event
I am a VIB member, because I spend at least $350 a year. An Insider is anyone who joins the rewards program, and Rouge members have to spend $1000 a year to get their level. I’m not there, but maybe some day…lol. Of course there are a number of perks that come with each tier, and you can see a breakdown below, but the best perk is the sale discounts.
My Sephora Re-Stocks
When Sephora does have their sales, although few and far between, I like to re-stock my favorites. Its also a great time to try out something new, because hey, its on sale! A few of my favorite products that I have used for over a year now, and will be re-stocking are linked in the widget below.
The YSL All Hours Foundation is my all-time favorite foundation, and I have tried hundreds. I mean it, hundreds. I am so fickle about foundation and this one is the best I have worn. It is full coverage, lasts up to 24 hours and is waterproof. It comes off super easily with face wash or makeup remover, but won’t budge during the day. Plus, YSL actually makes a shade light enough to match my super pale face. A lot of brands don’t..
Another product I have linked and love, is the Sol de Janeiro Body Wash and Bum Bum cream. I received these in a FabFitFun box and loved them so much I made the splurge to buy them. While they are a little more money than I would usually spend on body wash, they smell amazing and make my skin so soft! Totally worth it, and my boyfriend loves them too!
Perfect Gifts
The NARS Orgasm Afterglow lip moisturizer is another great find that I really recommend and my mom is now hooked on it too. We recently got her the gloss, but the lipstick / moisturizer is something that I always keep in my purse. Its super similar to the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in color, which is another huge staple of mine, and they’re both great pick ups during the sale. They make amazing gifts because of their color-changing formula.
Also, I know it sounds weird to give deodorant as a gift, but the Donna Karen Cashmere Deodorant is incredible. I’ve used it since my friend showed it to me in High School (Hey, Kaylin) and I’ve been hooked ever since. It smells like heaven and makes me smell great all day. Seriously, its a great gift and they sell gift sets for it, too.

The sparkle handles just make them even better. If you need a more splurge-worthy gift pick, the Dyson hair dryer is a top tier favorite. I was also recently gifted a T3 model, and have been so happy with it! I don’t worry about it frying my thin hair like I did with my older, more basic dryer. They use even-heat on their hot tools so you don’t fry your ends, and it makes the style last longer. Even my thin hair will hold curls for up to 3 days with the T3 curling irons. My Gift List
With my birthday coming up, I have a few pieces from the Sephora Holiday Bonus Event on my list. I’ve already texted my mom links to what I want and the sale code. The gift set for Olaplex shampoo and conditioner is a big one! After being introduced to the Olaplex line a few months ago, I am hooked and a huge fan already. With my hair being highlighted so frequently, it gets dry and damaged super easily. This line has really helped soften it up and even my hair dresser noticed the difference, so you know it must be working.
I also have an eye palette, a re-stock of the Nars Lip Moisturizer and a new setting powder on my birthday list. I’ve loved the YSL setting powder and have gone through three jars already, but I am aiming to try something new and have added the Charlotte Tilbury one in the widget below to my gift list.
Holiday Beauty
Its a sale, why not treat yourself to some holiday glam? All of the holiday eye palettes have me swooning. So many sparkles and jewel shades, I want them all.. This Huda Beauty one is the perfect size for travel, too. Its also under $30! I hate when some eye palettes have near 20 colors that I will never use, and I basically am only buying the palette for like 3 colors. Its such a waste, but these options are the perfect size and come with actually use-able colors for everyday!
If you have some fun New Years Eve plans, or want to have some fun on NYE, why not go with all the glitter? Skincare to Stock Up on
Skincare is my favorite thing to buy. I love trying out new brands and formulas! With such sensitive and break-out prone skin though, I like to invest in what I buy. The saying, “you get what you pay for”, I 100% agree with when it comes to skincare. My Kate Somerville Exfolikate toner is a huge favorite I plan to re-buy during the Sephora sale. Along with my Ole Henriksen eye cream, this stuff is like gold to me. It works for my puffiness, dark circles and dry skin. I love it! Plus, why not try out a new face mask, its on sale!
