Everyone knows what stores they do and don’t like to shop, right? Well, what about stores you may not have heard of? To make your holiday shopping a little more exciting, try shopping specialty stores this holiday!
This holiday season, I challenge you to find a store you’ve never previously shopped before and browse there for someone on your gift list. Of course, everyone has there go-to’s, like Nordstrom, Macy’s or even Saks Fifth Avenue for one stop shopping. But what happens when you end up giving the same gifts as everyone else? Buying from large, mass-producing department stores can cause this! A trick to avoid possibly gifting someone the same item as another person, try out a specialty store!
Being a fashion blogger, I have had the privilege of getting to test out and shop many different specialty brands and stores. Some small, some large, they all know what they’re good at selling and they stick to it! They don’t try to carry 25,000 items of products that they know nothing about. They care about their pieces and they know everything possible about them.
I wanted to put together this post to let you know about a few of my favorite specialty brands! I am absolutely confident that you will find something amazing from at least one of them for someone special on your holiday shopping list! Or, maybe even yourself!

iris + poppy an adorable women’s apparel and accessories line! I received the cutest turtleneck tank from them that I am obsessed with using as a layer under my moto jacket and cardigans!! With NYC not being the coolest in temperature yet, this piece has saved my life! It doesn’t make me sweat but still holds true to fall styles!
Mahi Leather
MAHI Leather is a leather goods company. They sell super cute and extremely durable all-leather bags. Ranging in styles from backpacks, duffles, and briefcases! I have their super cute Explorer backpack and I love it! I carry it all around NYC with me.
