Valentine’s Day Guide
Its the month of love, pink and chocolate. My three favorite things! Every year I get lost into winter depression and forget about Valentine’s Day until a few days before. I usually end up scrambling to prepare. This year however, I am ready and so are you with my Valentine’s Day Guide.
..or Galentine’s Day Guide?
This Valentine’s day will be spent with my friends. More of a Galentine’s day, if you will. My best friend and I are planning on going to dinner together, drinking lots of wine and eating so much ice cream. Which I am so okay with!
Be prepared to see this pink fur coat a lot because I am obsessed. I bought it from my internship at the Cleveland Consignment Shoppe and I can’t wait to wear it every day! So sorry in advance if you get sick of it, but I won’t..
Anyway, I hope you all have super fun and festive plans for this Valentine’s Day! I’ve put together these two looks to provide some inspiration and to take your mind off of what to wear. I also linked some gift ideas at the bottom of the page, to make a full Valentine’s Day Guide.
The inspiration for my first look came from 1. Wanting to wear my new jacket and 2. Finding a more versatile yet still fun and fancy look to go out in. I’ve linked similar products to what I’m wearing, below.
Pants or Skirt?
The skirt is optional. Due to the chilly Ohio weather, I never know until right before if I will actually want to bare my legs, so keep in mind it can be swapped with cute black jeans or leather leggings.
My second look is a bit more casual, yet still chic. Adding a pop of red to create a festive vibe, while not going overboard was the key here. Shop similar pieces below!
Switch it Up
Both of these looks are great because they’re made up of things that I had in the closet. I didn’t go out and buy just for the day. They could be worn any day of the year and it wouldn’t scream “This is Valentine’s Day!” if you didn’t want it to. Plus, all pieces are super versatile and casual, making it easy to wear a lot more after the fact.
