When I walked into the gas station today to get a cheap cup of coffee, I noticed the Blueberry summer flavor had been replaced with Pumpkin Spice. While its too early for Pumpkin Spice, its never too early to get a jump on your Fall decorating. Decorating for Fall is my absolute favorite. I love to put a chic twist on the classic Fall style and really make it my own. While scrolling through Pinterest recently, I found some amazing inspiration for how to decorate for Fall.

How to Decorate for Fall

What to Buy

Due to my move and lack of storage space, I ended up donating most of my decorations from the past years. This year I started fresh, and aimed to purchase only quality pieces that I can use for years to come. I didn’t want to throw money away on items I’ll never pull out again. I made an effort to match my current color scheme and create the focal pieces myself. The goal is to have these decorations up until after Thanksgiving, and transition into Christmas.

By buying simple colors that match my color scheme, I am making sure I will use these again in upcoming years. The pieces aren’t tacky or cheap looking, and have a chic, minimalist feel. Something I always gravitate towards in decorations. Choose seasonal decorations that are true to your style. The key is picking items that look as is they could be up all year long, but have a hint of season.
