You know what they say… March’s freezes bring April seasons! Ok, maybe no one says that. But it has been SO cold so far this March that it’s not always easy to transition your wardrobe from fall/winter to spring/summer. In this post I try to inspire some spring outfit transitions.

I transitioned a long sleeve body suit that I bought this November and made it look a little more spring-cheerful while still staying warm! Find a similar style here and here.

A great way to make a look more spring-ful is to add a pop of color that’s bright and cheerful. Such as this bring yellow handbag. I also pinned a silk flower to the leather handbag, because you know, floral’s for spring are groundbreaking.

What I’m Wearing

To stay warm I wrapped a lightweight, open weave scarf around my neck. Paired with light wash, vintage looking wide legged Tommy Hilfiger jeans, like this pair. Plus, a pair of suede, open toed mules, another way to make an outfit fit spring and summer style. Try this inexpensive pair!

This look is great for daytime errands and lunch plans. You can easily transition it to a nighttime look by switching to a pair of skinny, black jeans! If you’re in need of a good pair I’ve linked some here and here.

Add a Pop of Color

This bright yellow bag is so much fun, and I always get compliments on it. The perfect pop of color to brighten up any style or outfit. Try adding a bright accessory to carry over any look to the next season. You could even swap out my dark scarf with a fun floral print, or bright color. If you tend to choose more neutral accessories, try a hair piece or scarf for some fun.
