If your office is like mine, the A/C is constantly cranked, and most days you are trying not to shiver while sitting at your desk. As someone who is always cold, the added low-temperatures inside while outside Ohio is 90+ degrees, I have a hard time staying warm at my desk while still wanting to look like its actually summer outside. After working in the tundra for the last month, I have found a few tricks to stay warm in the office.
Mini Desk Heater
My boss has a mini-desk heather and recommended recommended it to me on my first day. I originally though she intended I get one for the upcoming winter. But, oh no. She meant for the summer. Apparently the air inside the office is always freezing while its hot outside, and scorching when its cold out. But, past the point of comfortable. I quickly started to catch on as to why she thought top mention this to me on my first day. I also have a soft blanket on the back of my chair for days I am in a dress and my legs start to freeze.

After knee-high socks started to trend a few fall seasons back, I have never managed to kick the habit. Sometimes I even wear a pair under my jeans, for extra warmth on my legs inside the office. Snag a Hot Coffee from the Office
As an avid coffee-drinker, its obvious I need a few cups throughout the day. In the summer I tend to opt for Iced Coffee, but due to the cold inside switching to hot has been so helpful. I keep my coffee in a double-walled insulated mug to keep it super warm all day and it helps to warm the body, internally. Lol.
Keep a Cardigan
I have learned to always leave a cardigan, jacket or sweatshirt in the car. Even on days that I wear long sleeves and think “Oh, I wont need a sweater!” I always, need the sweater. Hand Warmer Battery Pack
This handy device is my best friend. It is a portable phone charger, and also a hand warmer! It sounds silly and stupid, but seriously I have held it in my left hand for hours some days. Its so warm and keeps me even extra cozy on the chilliest days.
