I couldn’t decide if this outfit had more of a street wear style or a work wear vibe look. Trying to decide what to wear to work when I have to go somewhere after can be tricky. I want to look cute for after, but also appropriate for work. This outfit is inspired by mixing the two.
I bought these Louis Vuitton heels at a shop in Florida in January but I’ve been too scared to wear them until now due to the crazy Ohio weather. It finally stopped raining long enough for me to break them out for this shoot.
I’m really into mixing patterns lately, so I wanted to find something to mix with the LV monogram on the shoes. I chose my Asos houndstooth trousers and then opted for a plain white V neck to add some base. My blue wool coat came from my internship at the Cleveland Consignment Shoppe, its lightweight and the perfect spring cobalt blue, plus super soft! Not that you can feel it, but you can imagine..
The micro-sunglasses trend has finally caught up with me. The mixture of the skinny sunnies and the high wasted trousers really created a 90’s feeling to this look and I kinda love it. I feel like I should be Rachel from Friends in this outfit. I’m supposed to be studying for my midterms right now but clearly, that is not going as planned.
